Lone Star Rally : Galveston, Texas - Oct 30 to Nov 2, 2008The riding around the Lone Star motorcycle rally is one of the attractions. Going over the Causeway that gets you over the water to Galveston Island lets you see the water, riding along the beach once on the island, and riding on Strand Street through the middle of the rally are all part of the Galveston TX motorcycle experience.
Galveston is an attractive tourist city and because it is also a beach city you will find that many of the bars and places to eat have outdoor areas where you can view the Lone Star Rally’s action. As far as lodging at the, you can either stay at one of the hotels or camp out.
Attractions at the Galveston rally include live music, racing, tattoo contest, demo rides, poker runs, Miss Lone Star contest, different companies’ promotions girls, and more to be announced as we get closer to the 2008 Lone Star rally date. In addition, the rally has around 400 vendors including big rigs from major parts distributors, manufacturers, and dealerships. The vendor area expanded a couple of years ago to not include the Seawall area as well as the cross streets of Strand Street.
